About

Commission plans you can check, line by line

Commission Index helps RevOps, Finance and sales leaders design, test and audit sales commission plans — and decide, honestly, whether they need software to run them.

What we do

• 35 free tools — calculators, simulators and templates — that show every step of the math. No sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your browser.
• Software comparisons on verified facts — 22 commission and incentive compensation tools ranked by team size, with every fact linked to the vendor page it comes from. See how we rank.
• Guides that explain the concepts behind each tool, linked to the calculator that applies them.

Independence

We have no commercial agreement with any software vendor today. If we earn referral fees in the future, they will be disclosed next to every recommendation and will never change rankings or criteria. Read how we make money.

How we work

Calculations run on a tested engine with exact decimal arithmetic; the rules are documented in our methodology. How content is produced, checked and corrected is described in our editorial policy.

Who publishes Commission Index

Commission Index is published by Julien Mouttet, a sole proprietorship registered in France (SIREN 898 820 840). Full publisher and host details are in the legal notice.
